What does your business do?
Main Couture is a fashion-forward women’s clothing brand that creates never-before-seen skirts for work and play, all lined with our signature Gold Lining™
What should we know about you?
For a long time, skirts have been a second-class citizen. But to us, we wonder, “Why wear pants when you can wear a fantastic skirt?” A skirt that shows your femininity and power. We give skirts the position they deserve in what often seems to be a world of pants. What we create through Main Couture communicates a message to the world: “I’m proud to be a woman and I’m proud to wear a skirt.”
Why do you love what you do?
We all want to feel beautiful and I’m definitely not the exception. There is something uniquely powerful about being a woman and feeling good about yourself. I think clothes are an amazing way to express who you are and how you want the world to see you and treat you. Through Main Couture I’ve been able to express myself through fashion while helping women do the same by finding the perfect fit that will make them feel beautiful, powerful, and like the goddess they are. This is the best part of Main Couture.
Tell us about your superpowers ?
Most people who see the skirts say, “I’ve never seen something like this,” and that is the only way to describe them. Each piece is high-end, chic, and vogue, and uniquely made to be durable and adaptable enough to wear on endless occasions. They are geometrically cut and designed to be a perfect fit, hugging your waist, not your hips. They are all lined with a Gold Lining that is unique to the brand and that is both soft to the touch and protective, adding a layer of TLC.
What else should we know?
We are a brand made by women, for women, and 100% owned by women: two sisters and their mom :). When I’m not doing fashion, I’m running my language company, Diáfano, which provides classes in over 19 languages to companies and individuals.
