What does your business do?

We help career-minded women managers and individual contributors shatter the corporate leadership pipeline and experience success. 

What should we know about you?

To know oneself and the views of others is the beginning of career wisdom, fueling informed decision-making and intentional self-management that empowers achieving one’s maximum potential and impact in any situation.

Working collaboratively with the client, I anchor coaching engagements with an objective strategic self-awareness assessment typically administered through a third-party assessment tool. This assessment objectively identifies one’s values, strengths, and weaknesses. This awareness and a collaborative review of essential job competencies serve as the platform for focused career and leadership/management development planning and skill development.

Why do you love what you do? 

My parents taught me to “work hard, keep your head down, stay out of trouble, and you’ll get ahead.” This guidance, while well-intended, did not cover the complete framework. They didn’t share with me the necessity of business relationships, the inevitable office politics that one must navigate, and the need to have a voice to advocate for myself. I am on a mission to help women put these concepts together early and experience fulfilling careers – early and continuously. 

Tell us about your superpowers.

It centers around my unique giftedness: the ability to bring clarity, order, coordination, and harmony to situations; have a keen sense and discernment of dynamics at work in interpersonal interactions; and the ability to enable others to focus on their big picture, vision or idea and intentionally move toward achieving it. I create a supportive, welcoming, yet stretching environment that enables clients to bring out their best.  

What else should we know? 

I realized that women have a different experience in corporate…not always worse, but different. Our approach to leadership sometimes goes against the grain of what others stereotypically expect of us, especially when we fully embrace what others dub vital leadership behaviors. I am passionate about helping women gain strategic self-awareness (their internal views and others’ external perceptions), read the room of their careers, and proactively self-manage in situations to bring out their best and have the most significant impact. For years, I had figured things out alone through trial and error. But, there is another way if one so chooses, and I’m here to provide that trusted advisor and accountability partner option.
