Kristy Wallace

Meet Kristy Wallace

I met Kristy at the start of the pandemic, and it didn’t take long to see what kind of leader she is. Kristy is generous with her time, council and advocacy in a way that makes you feel seen and valued. She is a servant leader who is not afraid to be vulnerable and knows how difficult it is to challenge gender identities. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Kristy, her passions and her humanity and I could not be more excited for you to get to know her yourself!

What does your business do?

Ellevate Network gives women+ safe spaces to be honest about work and get validation, perspective, and actionable advice.

What should we know about you?

Leadership is an ongoing journey, and there’s no perfect way to be a leader, so continuing to evolve and to craft an authentic style is so important to me. It’s also been crucial to lean on my community of peers, especially in our weekly Executive Roundtable and my Squads, where I’ve met so many other women leaders leading teams and companies in different industries but facing similar challenges. I’m also passionate about ensuring that everyone’s voices are heard during difficult conversations. Ellevate’s goal is to create a more equitable future of work, and I strive to ensure those values are upheld internally, as well.

Why do you love what you do?

Leading a business with such a strong mission and values set lets me see firsthand the passion that our teams and communities put into the work they do every day. It has been not just eye-opening, but a transformational experience for me as a leader.

Tell us about your superpowers

Ellevate is intentional in building a community of women who come together to support one another, in making space for real conversations that tackle the challenges we’re facing every day in business and in our lives, and in helping our members gain inspiration and diversity of perspective. We’re here for you year-round with our weekly Roundtables, which are safe spaces to talk honestly about what’s going on at work, and our twice-yearly Squads, in which women come together for 12 weeks with the same group to really dig deep into new ideas, different perspectives, and next steps to tackle whatever hurdles they’re facing.

What else should we know:

In addition to our amazing community of 250,000+ members, Ellevate also works with companies of all sizes and across industries to boost their diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives, increase employee engagement, establish resilient workplace cultures, and boost recruitment and retention. If anyone out there thinks their company would be a good fit to partner with Ellevate, you can find out more information here.
