I’m thrilled to introduce you to Sheila!

…And it’s not just because she’s my hair guru and makes me feel amazing every time I am in her care, but because empathy is one of her superpowers.

She has a special ability to help people who suffer from hairless disorders like Trichotillomania, which is the persistent, impulsive urge to pull your own hair.

I watched a good friend deal with this condition while we both were growing up, and I saw how difficult it was to cope with, especially the bullying and shaming she experienced from peers.

Sheila is the the kind of stylist that I can trust completely with making decisions on what to do with my hair because she is THAT talented.

What should we know about you?

I have been a hairstylist for about 15 years. I do cut, color, weddings, extensions and I specialize in working with people who have Trichotillomania. Trich (for short) a hair pulling disorder, and any other hair loss situations. I use different methods of extensions and hair pieces to cover the thinning areas and help them feel more comfortable going out. I also do bonding methods which act as a barrier so that most of my trich clients are not able to pull in those areas. 

Why do you love what you do?

I love what I do because it is life changing for my clients. Seeing their reaction is priceless and such a rewarding feeling.

Tell us about your superpowers!

Since I have worked with many Trich clients over the years, the clients feel comfortable talking to me about their issues. They know that they will not be judged and that they are in a safe place. 

What else should we know?

Privacy and trust is something that my clients look for and I am able to provide that for them in my studio.
